Forcey Boys Advance to MACSAC Championship

Forcey’s top-seeded boys basketball team earned a shot at a second league title in three seasons Thursday with a convincing 47-20 victory over fourth-seeded Harford Christian at SASDAC.

The Falcons (23-3) leaped to a 12-2 lead early and never looked back. Xavier Pickett’s shooting, Ade Adeyemo’s rebounding, and Jordan Seaton’s intimidating defense were instrumental in ensuring Forcey’s third straight trip to the MACSAC championship game.

The championship game will be held Saturday at Rosedale Baptist in Baltimore at 11:30. Coincidentally, the Falcons will be playing Rosedale, the second seed, on their home court (which had been determined before the season began). Forcey defeated Rosedale twice during the regular season.

For fans who want to come support the team, Rosedale Baptist’s address is 9202 Philadelphia Rd., Rosedale, 21237. The league will be charging an admission fee of $4 for adults, $3 for students, and a maximum of $12 per family.
