After 597 days (thank you, Covid!) Forcey finally won a game — two of them, in fact! The Lady Falcons volleyball team defeated Arlington Baptist 2-0 Tuesday at SASDAC, and the boys soccer team defeated Southern Maryland Christian Academy 5-2 at MLK Park.

All the girls played well, according to Coach Burgess — he couldn’t single any one player out. The boys also used a total team effort. Ken Denzel Tsozock scored twice in a two-minute stretch on breakaway opportunities to put the Falcons up early, and Matthias Foster and Emmeric Scott tallied before halftime. Foster scored again in the second half and Dominic Hsu capped the scoring.

The soccer team travels to SMCA for a rematch on Friday, while the girls have some time off before their next match next Tuesday at Harford Christian.
