Celebrating 8th Grade Senior Night

At Forcey Christian School, we recently had the privilege of hosting our 8th grade senior night basketball games, and what an exciting event it was!

The evening kicked off with our girls' team taking on GE Peters in a nail biting match. Despite the final score of 29-31 not swinging in our favor, our girls played with exceptional tenacity, leaving everything on the court. We are so proud of how they played throughout the game. They hustled for everything and maintained a fighter's spirit! Their hard work throughout the game was truly unforgetable.

Following the girls' game, it was the boys' turn to shine. Facing a daunting 20+ point deficit early on, our boys refused to back down. They fought their way back into the game, eventually tying the score at the end of regulation. While the outcome didn't favor us in overtime, the "never give up" attitude displayed by our boys left an indelible mark on all who witnessed the game.

But the essence of the evening extended far beyond the scores on the scoreboard. It was a night dedicated to celebrating our senior athletes, acknowledging their contributions, leadership, and commitment to their sport and school over the years. Each senior was recognized and honored for their dedication and hard work, serving as role models for their teammates and peers.

As athletic director, I couldn't be prouder of our seniors and their accomplishments. Their achievements on the court are matched only by their character and integrity off the court. While their journey at Forcey Christian School may be coming to an end, we know that they are destined for even greater success as they embark on new adventures in the future.

As a school community, we will continue to support and uplift our seniors as they transition to the next chapter of their lives. We hold them in our prayers, knowing that they will continue to shine brightly wherever their paths may lead.

To our 8th grade senior athletes, thank you for inspiring us with your passion, love for basketball, and dedication to academics. We are excited to see the incredible things you will achieve in the years to come.
